This summer something big hits the area (...again! This time not a meteorite). The Pit Stop joins the CBC Garage at Crescent Beach Cottages. More food, more beverages, more fun!!!!

Pronounced "gah-ridge" as a tribute to Grandma Harbottle.

The CBC Garage is the newest addition to the CBC family but not the first time an ice cream shop has been on site. Many will remember the old chip stand that offered their famous home made fries and take out fast food and shakes.

The original garage started as a full service gas station and repair facility with services ranging from tires to motor changes until the mid 1980’s.

The Garage was also home to Wendy’s Craft Shop. In 2019 the grandkids started to transform the CBC Garage into an ice cream shop. It has evolved into a popular West Hawk spot known for our large ice cream cones.

In 2020 it took on the role of coffee shop as well with the addition of specialty coffees and teas. We now offer the tastiest breakfast sausage muffins and mini donuts. In keeping with the theme of the garage, items are offered such as our Pressure Gauge Twister and Windshield Washer. We also now offer a dairy free soft serve (Dole Whip).

Dairy free fruit soft serve. A real hit at the garage, this tastes creamy just like real soft serve. Available in Pineapple, Strawberry and mango, depending on the week or twist them together for a real super tasty treat!

Ice Cream

24 flavours of yummy icy goodness! We're always changing it up but keeping the classics. Try the Banana Cream pie (Shaun's pick!!!).
